Children’s Books
David made his first Children's Book, The Night the Scary Beasties Popped Out of My Head with his son Daniel in 1998. He worked with his then 5-year-old son to create all of the illustrations for the book. Daniel drew most of the drawings and David then brought the drawings to life and wrote the story. David and Daniel then went on to create their second book, Diggy Dan in 2000.
Random House Publishing published their first two books. They got to appear on Good Morning America to promote and talk about their books and hosted many book signings at the Mall of America, Minnesota Children’s Museum and more.
In 2015, David created 2 more books. This time he created them with his nephew, Frank. This time David self-published those books with his company Pigs and Pens Publishing.
